Carl’s Golfland To Debut TrackMan Range In America

US PREMIERE OF TRACKMAN’S REVOLUTIONARY RANGE SYSTEM AT BLOOMFIELD HILLS.

Vedbæk, Denmark, October 26, 2017: On Monday, Carl’s Golfland will launch the TrackMan Range system at its location in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This will be the first TrackMan Range system in North America.

The system provides players with instant information on eight performance numbers, allowing them to review and compare shots in real time. Data points include Ball Speed, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Height, Carry, Total, Side and From Pin.

The TrackMan Range system is available on all 52 tee stations year-round, and on the grass tees in season. The self-managed, free app combines TrackMan’s practice and playing sessions with the social aspect of having fun with friends at the range. See more at https://trackmangolf.com/products/range

Pretty inaccurate. Ball flies over the 190 target but the stats say 10-15 yards short. You can review your stats unless you are connected to the trackman range. No reviewing your range session at home. Great concept but needs a lot work before you get accurate usable stats.

      Thank you for your comment.
      1. The TrackMan numbers presented in the hit screen and in the table view of activity should all have solid accuracy. We have identified a bug in the dispersion screen, where the grid does not adjust correctly according to the distance of the shot series. This will be changed in a forthcoming release.
      2. We have taken the input from users to heart wrt. being able to view the data after a session has ended. A solution for this is also under way and will be released within long.

Great news about being able to review your stats after a session. I’ve used it at Smorum here in Denmark, and for me it’s just brought a lot more focus to a range session, as I compete with myself to improve dispersion through the bag or get instant feedback when I’m trying to shape shots/go for max distance etc.

Doesn’t seem to be very accurate, hit the ball to the 190 flag, registered as 170.
