Belas Clube de Campo near Lisbon, Portugal.
TrackMan User since:
Since I cannot remember. Probably around 2010 when I first got fitted for clubs growing up.
When and why did you start playing golf?
When I was 11 to spend the weekends with my dad and my sister.
What was your HCP when you turned Pro?
Which is your favorite golf course?
St. Andrews Old course: the home of golf, and probably one of the few courses where short and long hitters can equally compete.
Do you have a favorite coach you follow and why?
David Madras, my swing coach since I was 16. He is a lifetime learner of golf swing and asked me all the right questions that I try to answer today.
Who is your favorite player and why?
Annika Sorenstam. She was the Tiger Woods of the generation of girls growing up in the early 2000s.
What is your best golf related achievement?
To have participated in 3 World Amateur Golf Championships representing my country Brazil.
As a golf coach, what is the most common mistake among players you see?
To believe that tips or a miracle information will magically improve one´s golf game. Change can only happen with lots of hardwork and study.
What are your greatest professional strengths?
I love to ask questions, and let the players answer based on numbers, results and golf shots.
What’s in your bag?
Ping G30 woods, Callaway Apex irons, Vokey wedges and an originally made putter.
How often do you play golf yourself?
Less than I would like to.
What has changed since you started working with a TrackMan?
TrackMan helps us debunk some myths of the golf swing, like club face vs. club path determining ball direction.
Which is your favourite TrackMan feature, and why?
The latest one added: Impact Location. It will help short hitters realize the weakest point of their distance is not swing speed, but where they hit the ball on the clubface.
How and where can golfers get in touch with you?
My email address firstname.lastname@example.org, phone number +351 937 284 524 or on the golf range in Belas Clube de Campo.
Do you have any suggestions, how TrackMan can do better or differently?
First I would like to say I love TrackMan University and all the resources it has to offer to any lover of golf and numbers. I would like TrackMan to offer workshops more often. The first one I could attend after years of waiting, was a few months ago in Lisbon.
Would you like to be the next TrackMan coach of the month?
All you have to do is sign up on TrackMan University and complete Level 1,
we will randomly pick a new coach every month.
