Shaping the shots in golf is not a bad thing, it all comes down to the intention of the shot.
Having the tools to measure the outcome is imperative to developing the ability to hit certain shot shapes.
With the new parameter CURVE, players and coaches now get precise feedback on the curvature of the shot in form of a number instead of loosely defined terminology.
Anything from a baby draw to a big old fashion slice can now be put into a number, making it easier to compare shapes between shots.
As a TrackMan parameter, CURVE is defined as the horizontal side movement perpendicular from the launch direction to carry side. As a distance, the number is given in yards (or meters) and followed by R for right or L for left to indicate the landing position of the ball from the launch direction.
Let’s get your shots into shape and unleash potential.
I have a device that creates a channel that is calibrated at certain angles used during the swing. Of course the path is what determines the curve. Would be a nice complimentary product. Called stringrods. Check it out
