    It’s tough to listen to this guy when he doesn’t seem to know what smash factor is. It’s NOT yards per club head speed, it’s ball speed over club head speed.

    I know exactly what smash factor is. When smash factor is 1.0 it is the same as the clubhead speed which is what I state.

    how can trackman pick up spin when the ball is completly hidden by the club?

    Hi Alistair,
    From what I understand smash factor is ball speed divided by club head speed. Not the factor by how many yards the ball will travel at a certain club head speed, which is very different.

      Yes but when smash is 1.0 then club head speed is the same as Ball speed. Thanks Al
