Golf Simulators were never the vision for TrackMan when we first entered the market. The vision was a driving range solution that would allow two brothers to determine who hit it closer. Now with the clear industry leader in fitting, teaching, and game improvement technology, a pivot to golf simulators made a ton of sense. If you break a simulator down into 3 components, we look at it as a tracking engine, a software platform, and an environment.
That industry leader in tracking engines is our TrackMan 4 technology. The use of our Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking (Radar + Camera) allows users to feel great about the data and information being presented in any indoor or outdoor environment. A user then needs a great software engine to enjoy that tour-proven data. Our Virtual Golf 2.0 engine gives users an industry best graphical experience tied in with some of the best training and performance programs.
TrackMan then takes those great components and can create a fully custom solution for any golfer, country club, fitness studio, or co-working space looking to extend the season. To provide such a robust solution versus the typical industry cookie-cutter model, we deploy a world-wide operations team. This team has grown by almost 10x in the last 5 years as we have become the industry leader. Our operations team takes a pod approach with the use of national project managers, regional installers, and local salespeople. All of which are employed by TrackMan. No distributors here.
So what happens when someone decides they want a TrackMan Golf Simulator?
Our customer base gets in contact with us in a variety of ways. Most commonly is our referral network. We do everything the “TrackMan Way” which has led to countless customers referring over friends, family, and colleagues. Others reach out via their golf professional. We also receive direct emails requesting more information. We then do our best to connect the interested party with their local representative. We have dozens of employees around the country which ultimately means we have someone close to everyone in the world.

A TrackMan Representative will connect with you to talk more about your true needs and the space you have in mind. Our product is extremely flexible with very few limitations. We tackle everything from a consultative point of few to ensure we create a design that meets the needs whether they are entertainment or performance-driven. Our team is on the road every week meeting with clients and customers.
Once on-site, we refine the vision and draft a proposed solution. We become photographers and snap dozens of photos for reference. These photos are then sent back to our team for future evaluation. Our design team will then draft a virtual render to show the possibilities for the space. These renders are completely custom to the space and typically mirror the finished project.

After agreeing upon a design, TrackMan will develop its project proposal with all responsibilities listed. Once the agreement is processed, our operations team jumps into action. We will assign a project manager to the case to oversee all operations pieces while your sales representative will stay on top of everything locally. One of the major values of a TrackMan installation is the team backing the project. Our project management team will provide custom 2D design plans as well as an expert for your contractor or builder to work with on deliverables.
The Installation and Beyond
For the period leading up to the installation, we have our concierge in constant communication with the customer. The concierge works to ensure all deliveries are scheduled as well as that the installation is on track from both ends. The week prior to the install, our customer is then introduced to his installer. Our full-time, dedicated installers are trained professionals who have installed thousands of our simulator solutions over the past decade. These guys are the absolute experts and problem-solvers for any unique situation they may encounter.
Our installers will typically arrive on the Monday of your installation week and start with an inventory check of the space and all delivered components. The inventory check ensures that all components are onsite to begin the project the following day, even if that means overnighting a 400lb roll of turf has to be arranged. Once the installation begins, quickly the space takes shape. Custom turf is installed, and the prescribed enclosure is created. The space is then tied together with all necessary electronics. By weeks end, we have a fully functioning golf simulator.

A training session is scheduled with all customers to ensure they have complete knowledge of the system. But to be honest, most customers only remember 40% of what the TrackMan Performance Studio offers. Therefore, we typically do a refresher course a month or so after. But the connection with TrackMan doesn’t stop after the training. This solution is something designed for the next decade. During that time, you might encounter an issue of some kind. Our sales team will still be there to assist you locally, but we also have 7 days a week technical support team. Not only do our customers receive the best technology in the world but also a team ready to jump into action via phone, chat, or email.
The TrackMan Way
We take great pride in our work and our customer base. Our technology is a staple in the golf industry and our bend over backward mindset has allowed us to revolutionize this industry. Our success stories can be seen all around the world. Whether it is the at-home user enjoying a round with his mates or the country club extending their golf season year around, we are willing and ready to introduce you to these amazing people.
